Important Dates

Below are important dates to note for interested speakers. Please note that the below is subject to change, and we will confirm exact due dates for presentations drafts, dry runs, recordings and video approvals when speaker notifications are sent in June.

Speaker expectations

  • Be open to submission feedback. Speakers will be paired with a Twilio content specialist for 1:1 support and mentorship to bring your content to life.
  • Be available this summer to pre-record their presentation. Speakers will have production support and be given the opportunity to review their edited videos before it airs.
  • Join SIGNAL live. Sessions will have scheduled air times after which speakers will interact with attendees to answer any questions.
  • Agree to our speaker release. We intend to make SIGNAL presentations available for viewing after the event and will release select recordings for promotional and educational use.
  • Adhere to our Code of Conduct. SIGNAL is dedicated to featuring a diverse and inclusive mix of speakers. We encourage speakers of all experience levels and backgrounds to participate.
FAQs
GENERAL

Yes. You must indicate whether you are submitting a proposal on behalf of someone else as the first step of our application process. We just ask that you ensure that the proposed speaker is willing to participate if accepted.

All speaker applicants will receive a decision from us by mid-June. Speakers who are offered a breakout session must confirm their participation by the end of June. See speaker expectations above for additional requirements.

Breakout session speakers will pre-record their presentations later this summer with the help of our production agency. Note this is subject to change as we explore options for our hybrid event. We will update affected speakers with any changes as we get closer to the event.
